Narrow Aisle Forklift
Utilized to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage spaces which are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This kind is recommended for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, like warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has small, solid rubber tires which make maneuvering very simple.
Usually, the operator of this particular kind of forklift stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: two in the front, and one in the rear. This configuration enables for easy and fast maneuvering. There are some versions of these forklifts which are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment could pivot to the sides, allowing the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the whole machine. The sit-down version usually has four wheels.
Numerous narrow aisle forklifts are powered with an electric engine. Electric-powered equipment do not make exhaust fumes and are quiet, making them the suitable choice for closed places like retail spaces. Some lifts come with a gas engine or a diesel engine. However, the diesel model is not suggested for indoor use since it could be noisy and produce exhaust.
