JLG Telehandlers Michigan
John L. Grove decided to stop working after spending many years working together with his brother to establish their crane construction company into a world leader. His wife Cora and John celebrated their retirement by setting out on a cross-country trip in their R.V. After that trip, JLG Industries, Inc. emerged and became the world's top producer of specialized material handling machines and mobile aerial work platforms.
Throughout the R.V. journey, John spent a lot of the time talking to prior business associates that the Groves stopped to visit along their trip. When they visited the Hoover Dam, tragically, 2 employees were accidentally electrocuted on scaffolding. During subsequent conversations, John discovered a big untapped market for a machinery that can quickly and safely hoist people into the air to be able to perform maintenance and construction functions.
John decided to take action when John and his wife returned from the journey. He started a partnership with two dear friends when they purchased a small metal manufacturing business within McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. In the year 1970, with an initial group of 20 workers, the trio built and sold the first JLG aerial work platform. Numerous components of the basic design elements of that first machinery are still being incorporated into the present machines
Ever since John L. Grove first drove back into town from his cross-country journey, the company has come a really long way. They have significantly grown ever since their first aerial work platform initially debuted on the marketplace. Even these days, JLG continues to expand into additional worldwide markets. Numerous innovative machinery are designed to help clients work safer and be more effective.
JLG has remained devoted to being at the forefront of the industry. The business takes operator comfort into consideration very seriously. They attempt to deliver in performance, as well as safety and overall comfort so that the driver could be as productive as possible.
